How To Find Us

Our flying site is located close to Kilmacolm in Renfrewshire.

From Greenock, head for the B788 (Kilmacolm Road) Follow the B788 for approximately 3.4 miles. You will pass a sign on the right saying 'Jesus Saves' or similar and a farm cottage, slow down at this point and look for the iron gate on your right with a concrete track leading off down the edge of a field. At the bottom of the hill you will see a wooden bridge with steel grids, you are now in the parking area and the club hut will be visible over the bridge.

From Bridge Of Weir, head out of Bridge Of Weir on the A761 (Bridge Of Weir Road). Roughly 2 miles out, turn left onto the B788. Follow the B788 and go straight over the cross roads. Approximately 3 miles from the cross roads you will see the iron gate on your left. If you pass a farm cottage on your left and a sign with 'Jesus Saves' or similar you were either going too fast, or not paying attention, turn round and look for the gate on your right 200 yards past the farm cottage.

Well, I guess that is probably about as clear as mud, so a picture being worth a thousand words print out this map which may assist you. The entrance is marked by the red arrow, and the field by the red circle.
